To my eye, the Leatherman tools are 0.098" (probably 3/32") wide or 0.075" (probably 5/64") wide and can be about 1.7" max from tip to tip before they possibly interfere with the pliers closing. The SOG awl looks great but I can't find dimensions for it anywhere. Is there a marlinspike or awl available as a spare that will fit in a leatherman? The SOG C-4 spike looks like a reasonable knot buster but is maybe too wide to replace anything other than the large bit driver.
